The Chamberlin

The ultimate colloidal silver maker

THE PRODUCT

A simple home colloidal silver maker that uses pure silver wires and a DC power source to convert distilled water into high-quality colloidal silver.

HOW IT WORKS

The Ultimate Colloidal Silver Maker turns distilled water into colloidal silver via simple electrolysis. Pure silver wires hang on opposite sides of a jar of steam-distilled water and connect to a DC power source. A gentle current releases microscopic silver particles into the water, forming a stable mix of nanosilver and colloidal silver. Wide wire spacing allows natural diffusion (no stirrer needed), and after a few hours the result is a clear or slightly tinted colloidal silver solution.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers
How long the wires last depends on:
  • How often you make CS
  • How long you brew your batches
  • What kind of water you use
If you make CS every single day your wires may only last a year. Most people don’t brew CS every day so an average amount of time should be 2 years, but some people have had them last 5 to 10 years or more. If you overbrew (longer than suggested), especially when you let the CS turn yellow, your wires will not last as long. If you use any other than steam distilled water, and the water goes cloudy, your wires will not last as long. Zero filtered water has shown to work as well as distilled, as have some reverse osmosis systems (5-stage that don’t add minerals back in). If your water stays clear while brewing and you don’t overbrew, they will likely last as long as when using steam distilled water.

No. TDS meters are up to 200% inaccurate, as is the laser light. The instrument that can actually measure PPM in CS can cost $5,000 or more to purchase.

It’s part of the brewing process; it’s just harmless silver oxide, which can be wiped off (though that’s not necessary) as it will just dissolve into the next batch.
No. You would just be wasting silver that would have dissolved into your next batch, shortening the life span of your wires.

Our first choice is clear or tinted plastic soda pop bottles, or clear/tinted plastic fruit juice bottles. Tinted glass can also be used, but silver eventually sticks to the glass so we recommend the plastic bottles already mentioned.
